Various fermented whey-based beverages have been developed to reduce waste. However, approaches to increase the preference of whey-based beverages are required because of the low sensory acceptability of whey. Here, we identified the better starting material (whey type), between raw whey (RW) and demineralised whey (DMW), and determined the optimal initial concentration using multiple sensory evaluations to develop acceptable fermented beverages made from sole whey with pure cultured Kluyveromyces marxianus (i.e. without additional ingredients and processing methods). Acceptance tests showed that fermented beverages made from DMW were superior to RW as the starting material. The amounts of ethanol produced were 5.0%, 7.6% and 9.5% v/v from the different initial DMW concentrations of 10%, 15% and 20% w/v, respectively. We observed a significant positive correlation (rs = 0.32, P < 0.05) between the assessment attributes, strength of taste as alcohol beverage and overall acceptability, indicating that higher concentrations of DMW yielded a more desirable product.  相似文献

With the rapid development of 5G NR(New Radio),the explosive increment of traffic amount is calling the utilization of unlicensed band.3GPP has proposed LAA(Licensed Assisted Access)to use LTE in unlicensed band and pointed out that NR-U(NR-Unlicensed)can reuse most designs of it.However,the existing channel access mechanism of LAA is conservative under the coexistence scenario of NR-U,which leads to the waste of time resource.To address the problem this paper proposes a hybrid channel access mechanism to take advantage of the LBT(Listen-Before-Talk)mechanism of LAA when channel is quite busy and transmit directly with reduced power when it is relatively idle.The channel busy degree is judged by a series of periodically updated adaptive thresholds.System-level simulation verifies that under the coexistence scenario of NR-U the proposed mechanism can achieve higher UPT(User Perceived Throughput)and lower delay than other channel access mechanisms.  相似文献

Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) are essential FAs for human health. Cytochrome P450 oxygenates PUFAs to produce anti-inflammatory and pain-resolving epoxy fatty acids (EpFAs) and other oxylipins whose epoxide ring is opened by the soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH/Ephx2), resulting in the formation of toxic and pro-inflammatory vicinal diols (dihydroxy-FAs). Pharmacological inhibition of sEH is a promising strategy for the treatment of pain, inflammation, cardiovascular diseases, and other conditions. We tested the efficacy of a potent, selective sEH inhibitor, 1-trifluoromethoxyphenyl-3-(1-propionylpiperidin-4-yl) urea (TPPU), in an animal model of multiple sclerosis (MS), experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Prophylactic TPPU treatment significantly ameliorated EAE without affecting circulating white blood cell counts. TPPU accumulated in the spinal cords (SCs), which was correlated with plasma TPPU concentration. Targeted lipidomics in EAE SCs and plasma identified that TPPU blocked production of dihydroxy-FAs efficiently and increased some EpFA species including 12(13)-epoxy-octadecenoic acid (12(13)-EpOME) and 17(18)-epoxy-eicosatrienoic acid (17(18)-EpETE). TPPU did not alter levels of cyclooxygenase (COX-1/2) metabolites, while it increased 12-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid (12-HETE) and other 12/15-lipoxygenase metabolites. These analytical results are consistent with sEH inhibitors that reduce neuroinflammation and accelerate anti-inflammatory responses, providing the possibility that sEH inhibitors could be used as a disease modifying therapy, as well as for MS-associated pain relief.  相似文献

Frozen storage is chosen to be the preferred method in meat preservation. However, multiple freeze-thaw (F-T) cycles will occur during the transfers or distribution processes under poor cold-chain conditions. This study investigated the effects of multiple freeze-thaw (F-T) cycles on water mobility, microstructure damage, protein oxidation and lipid oxidation in rabbit meat during seven F-T cycles through 56 days. Scanning electron microscopy results indicated that the increase of F-T cycles induced the rupture of endomysia and the increase of gaps between fibres. Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (LF-NMR) results showed that the peak area of T21 and T22 decreased with increasing number of repeated F-T cycles, indicating that immobile water shifted to free water, and free water mobility increased. During repeated freeze-thaw process, the peroxide value, thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances, non-haem iron content and carbonyl groups of rabbit meat gradually increased, whereas haem content, haem iron content and sulfhydryl content of rabbit meat gradually decreased. In addition, the results of Fourier transform infrared, sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and intrinsic fluorescence spectroscopy indirectly proved that multiple F-T cycles could cause α-helix structure disruption, protein aggregation and degradation, and tryptophan oxidation of rabbit meat myofibrillar protein (MP). Overall, multiple repeated F-T cycles changed moisture migration, damaged microstructure and promoted lipid and protein oxidation of rabbit meat.  相似文献

Mann-Whitney and Signed-Rank control charts are two well-known nonparametric charts used for controlling the center of the process when the distribution of the process parameter is unknown or nonnormal. Considering the effect of measurement error on the performance of control charts, the mentioned effect with additive model is investigated on Mann-Whitney and Signed-Rank charts. Furthermore, a comparison is made between the two charts and a Shewhart-type X¯ chart (as a parametric one) in the presence of the error. To do so, a simulation program is used and average run length (ARL) of the charts are calculated under three distributions. The results for all three distributions show that the existence of measurement error weakens the performances of both nonparametric charts and larger values of the variance of the error will increase the effect. A numerical example is also discussed to show the effect on the performance of the charts. Multiple measurements is used as a way to decrease the effect of measurement error. Knowing the fact that it requires extra time and money, it can be used in real cases depending on the financial limitations of the user.  相似文献

Delegation mechanism in Internet of Things (IoT) allows users to share some of their permissions with others. Cloud-based delegation solutions require that only the user who has registered in the cloud can be delegated permissions. It is not convenient when a permission is delegated to a large number of temporarily users. Therefore, some works like CapBAC delegate permissions locally in an offline way. However, this is difficult to revoke and modify the offline delegated permissions. In this work, we propose a traceable capability-based access control approach (TCAC) that can revoke and modify permissions by tracking the trajectories of permissions delegation. We define a time capability tree (TCT) that can automatically extract permissions trajectories, and we also design a new capability token to improve the permission verification, revocation and modification efficiency. The experiment results show that TCAC has less token verification and revocation/modification time than those of CapBAC and xDBAuth. TCAC can discover 73.3% unvisited users in the case of delegating and accessing randomly. This provides more information about the permissions delegation relationships, and opens up new possibilities to guarantee the global security in IoT delegation system. To the best of our knowledge, TCAC is the first work to capture the unvisited permissions.  相似文献
